Yoshihiko Uno was born in Aomori Prefecture. He studied architecture and product design at university. After apprenticing under fashion stylist Hirohiko Furuta, he went independent in 2007. At the same time, he began his career as an artist, providing graphics for apparel brands and engaging in live painting. He works extensively in fashion and music visuals, art direction, murals, signboards, logos, and character design. His distinctive style is characterized by a unique analog touch based on monochrome, yet it creates a pop impression, producing Japanese pop art with diverse expressions.
