Yoshihiko Uno was born in Aomori Prefecture.
He studied architecture and product design at university.
After apprenticing under fashion stylist Hirohiko Furuta, he became independent in 2007.
At the same time, he began his career as an artist, providing graphics for apparel brands and engaging in live painting.
He works on a wide range of projects, including fashion and music visuals, art direction, murals, signboards, logos, and character design.
His distinctive style is characterized by an analog, unique touch based on monochrome, yet it gives a pop impression, creating Japanese pop art with diverse expressions.
